I hope all is well. My girlfriend and I went for a drive two days ago up to Hardin and across the hill to Batchtown to see the flooding. She took her camera and got some pictures.

Hello Bill,

From Duck Club to Eagles on 12/29/2015 3pm .....30.05 with at least a foot to go.

I left them unedited so others could zoom in if they wish. It was a chilly ride. A winter flood is a lot different than a summer. Don't get your feet wet!

Heya Bill,

You sure picked good time to get out of town.

Flooding is a few inches from cresting here in Portage DS, No close-up shots, too cold to get out in kayak.

My place has foot of water in kitchen and bedroom. Luckily the livingroom and bathroom are couple feet higher. Both neighbor's houses are flooded all the way through.
Southwest St. Louis county is actually getting it worse, flooding placed "its never flooded before".

Hope everybody is staying safe, winter floods are extra deadly.

Hey Bill,

Hope you're enjoying the sun and sand. The river is still a few feet up and doesn't seem to wanna go back where she belongs anytime soon. It's only really affecting us serious riverrats Who are dumb enough to live this close.
